Meeting with Philcomsat Holdings Corporation

Philcomsat, also known as the Philippine Communications Satellite Corporation, is a telecommunications company based in the Philippines. It was established in 1967 as a government-owned corporation with the goal of providing satellite communications services to the Philippines. Philcomsat played a significant role in the development of satellite communications in the country. In 1969, it launched the Philippines’ first satellite, called “Palapa A1,” in partnership with other Southeast Asian countries. This satellite provided services such as long-distance telephone calls, television broadcasts, and data transmission. Over the years, Philcomsat has expanded its services and infrastructure to meet the growing demands for telecommunications in the Philippines. It has been involved in satellite leasing, international connectivity, and the provision of telecommunications facilities.

We shared with Director Mr. Charles J. Horne and thier technical team about junca’s unique ecosystem and the latest in security with ODDS that will be offered globally in the future, especially in the Philippines, and sought strategic collaboration on technology. Philcomsat Holdings Corporation is a company with extensive network and experience in the Philippines, which combined with junca’s latest technology offerings, is expected to maximize the strengths of both parties.
